Scremerston Coronation Events

The Berwick Rugby Club in Scremerston is playing host to two events to Celebrate King Charles III Coronation on Sunday 7th May 2023.
The first event is for children to come along with their well behaved parents/guardians to enjoy a spectacular, funny and engaging show of Magic by, "Professor" Hayden Parker. The show is written especially for children and family audiences and the magician is enhanced DBS checked and Autism Friendly. Hayden says, "We combine amazing magic, big laughs and hilarious surprises for a completely interactive experience. The children become part of the show, they 'help' the magic happen!" The show is being organised by Ancroft Parish Council and is free to attend. It will start at 4pm on Sunday 7th May and run for 45 minutes. All youngsters from the local area are welcome on a first come, first served basis. The second event is also family friendly and will start at 5.30pm on Sunday 7th May. Local band, "Dakota Duo," led by Kevin Shearer will be playing three sets of live music that will feature top tunes from the King's eight decades, from the 1950's right through to the present day. There will be up close magic that is designed to entertain, baffle and most of all make you smile! Local caterers U've Pulled will be serving delicious pulled pork rolls and the rugby club are kindly providing a full bar service. David Belcher, Chair of Scremerston Community Action group that is organising the event says, "We are delighted to be able to stage, with the aid of the Coronation Community Fund, an evening of entertainment for all the local community to enjoy." Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and are priced at £5 each to include a pork or vegetarian roll and are available by emailing scremtickets@gmail.
