Dear Parents Carers,
Another busy week here at Tweedmouth West.
We have had Science Week, led by Miss Campbell. The whole school have been involved in a range of science experiments, and they have really enjoyed ‘being a scientist’. Well done everyone!
We were visited by some sheep and lambs this week. Mr Reavley very kindly brought them onto the school field, and the children had a very hands-on experience. It was a fabulous morning!
Year 2 went on their Field to Fork visit, and were a real credit to their families and to our school. The rest of the school will be having their visits very soon.
The Gymnastics teams had some very good news this week. They have both qualified for the School Games Final, and will be going down to Ponteland to compete next week. We are very proud of them all!
And finally – today is Joke Day for Comic Relief. The children will be sharing their jokes today – I can’t wait to hear them! Thankyou all for your very generous donations to this very worthy charity.
